Frequently Asked Questions
How long does delivery take?
Delivery times vary depending on the product you order.
For chainsaw chains, orders are fulfilled from our New South Wales warehouse. Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive tracking details, with delivery handled by Australia Post.
For custom tags, delivery times depend on the supplier, the time of year (seasonal demand), and any printing requirements. As these are made to order, production and dispatch times can vary.
Are your tags NLIS compliant?
Yes, all tags we offer are NLIS (National Livestock Identification System) compliant and approved for use across all Australian states and territories. We supply both visual and electronic (EID/RFID) tags for cattle, sheep, and goats.
Can I get custom printing on my tags?
Absolutely. We offer standard printing (sequential numbers or text), non-standard layouts, and complex designs including logos. You can upload a photo of your existing tag and we'll match the print layout. Setup fees apply for non-standard and complex printing.
What colours are available?
We stock the full Allflex colour range including Black, Blue, Brown, Green, Grey, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, White, and Yellow - Colour availability depends on the specific tag product.
Do you offer bulk or volume pricing?
Yes, we offer competitive pricing for bulk orders. Whether you're ordering for a small hobby farm or a large commercial operation, contact our team for a custom quote tailored to your requirements.
What is the SA Levy?
South Australia requires an additional NLIS levy of $1.50 per tag for cattle NLIS tags. This levy is automatically added at checkout when applicable and is collected on behalf of the SA government.
Can I return custom-printed tags?
Custom-printed and personalised tags cannot be returned as they are made to your specifications. However, if there is a manufacturing defect or error on our part, we will replace them at no cost. See our full Refund Policy for details.
How do I choose the right tag for my livestock?
It depends on your state requirements and livestock type. For NLIS compliance, cattle need an approved RFID ear tag. Sheep and goats need electronic eID tags in most states. Browse our collections by animal type, or contact us and we'll help you choose the right product.
