The rechargeable cattle prodder. Leader's Red Heeler comes with the battery pack fitted, a 240V wall charger and a 12V car charger, so it charges in the shed overnight or on the dash on the way to the yards. No C batteries to buy, ever.
Available in three shaft lengths—300 mm, 560 mm and 810 mm— you can choose the size that suits your setup. The 810 mm option provides extra reach for race work and loading ramps. A wrist strap helps keep the handle secure while working.
In the box: Handle with rechargeable battery pack, shaft in your selected length (300 mm, 560 mm or 810 mm), wrist strap, 240V/110V charger and 12V cigarette lighter charger. Includes a 12-month warranty under normal use.
Spares: Leader makes replacement shafts in 300 mm, 560 mm and 810 mm, a replacement battery pack, both chargers and a handle on its own. We can order any of them in.
Want the battery version instead? The Yellow Heeler is the same prodder running on four C cells, for $115.
Using it legally: every state allows electric prodders on cattle over 3 months old (NSW says weaned). Hindquarter or shoulder only, never the face, udder, anus or genitals, never on an animal that can't move away, and sparingly. Our state by state guide has the detail.
Warning: do not beat an animal with this product or use it for a prolonged period on any single animal. Illegal for use on humans.

What Our Customers Say
Trusted by farmers across Australia.
"Highly recommend Farm & Acre Co. A great small family business run by a young local family who are having a real crack and having a go. It's awesome to see people backing themselves, supporting small farmers, and keeping things local. Every dollar spent helps local families and the farming community, not big corporates. Love what they're building and proud to support a business like this. Great products, great communication, great service."

"Nestled in the heart of rural NSW, Farm and Acre Co is a testament to the beauty of small-scale, family-run business determined to provide the best product and service to their customers."
"Unreal family business. Seeing a small family go out and have a go gets my vote every day."
"I couldn't be happier with the service and products I've received from Farm & Acre Co. I've purchased both cattle ear tags and chainsaw chains, and the quality of everything has been outstanding. Their customer service is second to none—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. Pricing is extremely competitive, especially considering the quality of the products, and the turnaround time was impressively fast. My order arrived quickly and exactly as promised. It's rare these days to find a business that delivers the best service, best products, and great value all at once, but Farm & Acre Co does exactly that. In my opinion, they're one of the best farm supply businesses in Australia, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in the rural or agricultural industry."
