20 Inch Chainsaw Chains

Need a 20 inch chainsaw chain? Here's our full 20" range in one spot, tungsten carbide tipped chains that stay sharp up to 10x longer, GoldStrike loops and bar-and-chain combos, plus TUFOZI hardened-steel chains for everyday cutting. Most 20" saws run 3/8 .058 (1.5mm) or .063 (1.6mm) and land around 72 drive links, check the stamp on your bar, count your drive links, and match it up.

Tungsten carbide stays sharp up to 10x longer

A 20" saw is built for the big stuff, long bars pulling through dry hardwood, storm timber and dirty logs that blunt a standard chain in no time. Our 20" tungsten carbide tipped chains have a carbide cutter welded to every tooth, so they keep biting through the grit and grime that kills ordinary steel. In Aussie hardwood that works out to a chain that stays sharp up to 10x longer than standard, fewer stops to file, more wood on the ground. Want the lot in one go? Grab a GoldStrike bar and chain combo so the bar, gauge and drive link count all line up out of the box. And if you're cutting cleaner softwood, our TUFOZI German hardened steel loops give you a solid chain at a sharp price.

A 20" bar tells you the length, but the chain has to match three things: pitch, gauge and drive link count. On 20" saws the common combos are 3/8 .058 (1.5mm) on a lot of Husqvarna-style gear and 3/8 .063 (1.6mm) on bigger Stihl-style saws, with .404 .063 (1.6mm) turning up on heavier rigs, drive link counts on a 20" bar usually sit around 72DL. You'll find the numbers stamped on the bar near the mount, or printed on the box your old chain came in. Husqvarna 154/254/257/262/357/359 and Rancher-style saws are typical 20" .058 (1.5mm) candidates. If the stamp's worn off or the numbers don't add up, send us a photo of the bar or the old chain and we'll usually sort it pretty quickly.
